Each with banner inscribed CHELSEA above R.S.R., various year codes and registration diamond for 31 May 1875 (pat no. 291611), impressed Staffordshire knot enclosing R.S.R, and painted pattern 6843, comprising soup tureen, cover and stand, length of stand 15in; two oval covered vegetable dishes; two oval covered sauce tureens and stands; oval pedestal fruit bowl, length across handles 11 3/4in; seven oval graduated platters, lengths between 10 1/2 and 19 1/2in; twenty-three plates, diameter 10 1/2in; fourteen plates, diameter 9 1/4in and eleven soup plates, diameter 10 1/2in.
