1940, pastel on black animation paper, the storyboard depicts the Russian dancers from the "The Nutcracker Suite" section of the film, the exciting Thistle Boys perform a high kicking routine and are joined by the beautiful Orchid Girl dancers. Little has changed from these beautiful pastel concept drawings to the final version of the film, matted and framed.
