Gertrude Lawrence correspondence
Four pieces of correspondence including two typed letters on "Red Cross 1945 War Fund" letterhead dating to January, 1945 regarding fund raising, both signed by Lawrence. Two handwritten letters on "The Town House" and "Cunard White Star RMS Mauritania" letterhead both written to husband Richard Aldrich undated but transmittal envelope postmarked July 21, 1940. The letters are an intimate accounting of daily activities and affectionately signed "Mrs. A." Together with a publicity photo signed in green ink, "Most Sincerely Gertrude Lawrence 1951."
