mute 8mm footage, total approximate running time 4 minutes, showing the Beatles arriving at the airport, it is believed on 22nd February 1964, following their triumphant first trip to the USA, together with a short sequence of them arriving/leaving Teddington Studio Centre by boat, possibly the next day when they taped an appearance on the 'Big Night Out', to be sold with copyright

  • The vendor worked for BOAC at this time and happened to be at the airport when the Beatles arrived. He was able to get very close to the aircraft and filmed the group as they came down the steps and fought their way through the crowd onto an awaiting bus.
