Footnotes

  • The accompanying certificate, signed by Eric Clapton, confirms that this guitar was owned and played by him during 1996-97. He used it for recording 'Change The World' and the 'Pilgrim' album. The guitar was then given to guitarist Paul Wassif. On the US leg of the 'Pilgrim' tour, Eric then borrowed the guitar back for use in the acoustic part of the set. The instrument was also borrowed by Bert Jansch during a live performance. For film of this occasion go to www.youtube.com.
