  • In 1967, aged 17, the vendor began work as receptionist and telephonist for Anim Ltd., 39 Gerrard Street, London, the company run by Chas Chandler and Mike Jeffries. She got to know Jimi and mixed with various groups at the time in clubs such as The Speakeasy and Bag o' Nails. During the period she worked for Anim she became involved with Jimi's fan club. She saw Jimi wearing this cape on several occasions and, after telling him how much she liked it, Jimi presented to her as a gift.
