Footnotes

  • According to research by the vendor, this head was used for the character of the Captain of the USS Panther II in the episode entitled 'White As Snow', first broadcast 3rd November 1967. It then appeared as President Joseph Meccini in 'Codename Europa', first broadcast in April 1968. It was also used for the character of Selkirk in the Joe 90 episode, 'Relative Danger', first shown December 1968.

    The head was originally purchased at Phillips, 19 September 1995, lot 39. The hands were part of lot 19, Toys & Dolls, Phillips, 12th December 1995. The lot comes with a mounted still from 'White As Snow' and various other photographs.
