Footnotes

  • This green satin costume is the original 1960s style Playboy bunny costume. The costume evolved throughout the club's history, however it is this type of satin boned basque which has come to most to represent the Playboy bunny look.

The illustration in the catalogue shows bunny 'Brenda' dancing in the Playboy Club, London circa 1969/70 wearing this outfit. Bunnys were allowed to dance on their breaks in the club, however they were not allowed to dance with customers due to the strict code of conduct.
