playing patriotic and popular airs, single-spring motor, single-section comb, tune indicator, drum with eight-hammer strike, plain polished buffet-stack bells, each with coloured crowns, insect strikers of butterflies and wasps with painted cast metal detail, on reeded cast gilt bedplate in ebonised interior, under dustlid, tunesheet lacking, in grained case with the rosewood veneered lid bearing oboe, tambourine and floral ensemble inlay, triple boxwood inlaid frame - 26in. (66cm) wide, the cylinder 13.1/8in. (33.5cm)
