single-spring motor, single-section comb, stamped governor cock brass interchangeable cylinder wings on reeded cast gilt bedplate in red stained interior under dust lid, in impressive canted-corner profile rosewood veneered case, the slight-domed lid with stylised conical inlaid boss with French enamel infils in pink, white, green and red, various fruitwood scrolled inlays for the frame, quadruple stringing to border, repeated to the front with further rectangular enamel boss and frame, seated upon the stand with typical Bremond cylinder storage intermediate box, part hinged top over drawer, in delicate turned rosewood supports with pierced spandrels, turned stretchers, with period lid and storage lock keys - 25.1/4in. (64cm) wide, the cylinders 10.3/4in. (27cm), the height overall 40in. (102cm)
