with small single-spring motor, single-section comb with washer-less polished steel screws on plain brass bedplate, signed with Benoit & Piquet in ink to the soundboard, in noir grained case with endflap, the lid veneered in rosewood bearing geometric inlaid decoration in boxwood, elm and ash of a butterfly within stylised Greek key and floral swag frame - 14in. (35.5cm) wide, the cylinder 7.7/8in. (20cm)
