An unusual bone organ console-form musical box,
circa 1840,
inscribed to bedplate end 111 - 114 115,
playing two airs, with single-section comb on plain brass bedplate, the case in section-built bone with top pierced pediment, open shelf above plinth with further pierced panel, music slope with carved and incised score marked in black ink, keyboard in stained and natural bone above fluted frieze to sides, on turned supports, start/stop and change/repeat controls to rear (one missing) - 4.1/2in. (11cm) wide, the cylinder 2.1/2in. (6.5cm)
