from elements circa 1880 and later,
using Reuge electric motor conversion, the four cam stack for three movements to each bird from period four-pillar movement, the birds in typical Reuge profile, with the first perched on brass T bar with red head, light grey feathered plumage, flanked by two smaller birds upon mustard yellow velvet covered base in soft red with highlights in white and light red respectively, under large rectangular domed cage with boss and hoop top, coin entry chute to accept quarter coins to front, the gilt gesso base with canted-corners, floral appliqués and raised acanthus leaf moulded frieze, coin drawer to right-hand side, crank spindle hole still present on left-hand side, 110/220v selector switch underside - 25.1/2in. (65cm) high
