the period movement with three cams for continuous birdsong and movement to the two birds, one on brass T perch, the second standing on base below, accompanied by static birds including finch and canary modelled on tree branches finished with cut silk and thread flowers, leaves and berries, on circular red velvet covered motor cover, later ebonised square base under square glass dome, access to key-wind spindle and start/stop lever to right-hand side when dome removed - 22in. (56cm) high
