Made and sold by G & J Cary 86 St James Street Jany 1 1838, in brass meridian within horizon ring applied with coloured print of calendar and zodiac scales, on mahogany tripod base with printed compass rose (compass damaged, lacking compass needle, globe with surface rubbed in places) 24in (61cm) high
