with fusee movement, Bruguier signature to top plate and spring loafer, unusual birdsong in 1-1-2-3-4-5-6 sequence from the eight-cam stack, the bird with layered feathered plumage in dark brown, teal green, turquoise and red, subtle orange and green iridescent highlights, moving beak, head, wings and tailfeather, rising through pierced and chased gilt grille, the lid interior with busy asymmetric painted enamel floral spray on Royal blue ground, the top with finely painted scene of a fast-flowing river with figures walking towards the stepping-stone causeway, tree-lined banks and vast mountainous landscape beyond, black infill enamel crest to framed border, the main lid bearing full enamel ground in blue, four segmented floral spray clusters with white and black enamel framing, shaped corners, silver-gilt case with tooled wave-line ground and further flower detail to sides, theme repeated to underside with intertwined ribbon and mitre matrix on sextuplet-lined ground, start/stop button to front-centre, hidden key compartment to rear - 4in.
