circa 1960,
with one larger perched bird and a smaller companion, each with bushy layered feathered plumage, moving beaks and heads, taking turns to sing to pulsed or continuous birdsong, ivy-clad brass T bar, under square domed gilt cage with hoop and boss top, gilt gesso base bearing floral appliqués and acanthus leaf frieze, start/pulse/stop control from underside, crank-wind to side - 19in. (48cm) high
