The finely moulded wax mother and father with painted features, painted grey hair and green paper neck ribbons, the lady having delicate pink silk bonnet, covered in a brown silk blanket and with baby in swaddling to centre, in an oval straw-work patterned box with lid, pull-string at base to make dolls sit up, box 8cm (3.2in) long.
