An early German Teddy Bear, 1905-06
Light brown straw filled mohair bear with black boot button eyes, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head and jointed at shoulder and hips, leather and felt paw pads (stitching to nose and mouth not original, few claws restitched, pads not original, mohair overall good, minor wear to small area of nose), 51cm (20in) tall.
