Five oval portraits of members of the Banbury family including Edward (b. 1859) and Frances Banbury and their sons, William Michael (b. 1884) and Francis Edward (b. 1894), the latter wearing white sailor suit; including two circular portraits of Admiral Sir William King-Hall KCB (1816-1886).
The portraits of an Officer and Frances Mary Banbury are housed in silver frames: the reverse of the latter engraved Frances Mary/ wife of Edward Banbury/ Mother of/ William Michael/ Francis Edward/ and Rosemary, with oval aperture, glazed to reveal lock of blonde hair; the remaining miniatures housed in gilt-metal frames.
