Jewelled full plate verge movement with pierced and engraved balance cock, silvered regulation, triangular baluster pillars, gilt dial with black Roman chapter and outer Arabic five minute markers and divisions, later blued steel hands, foliate engraved centre signed 'London,' round polished inner case, later fine repoussé and outer engraved case with arcaded angels and animals around the edges and domestic scene within, 7-piece squared hinge, finely shaped bow, movement signed
