The purpose built case surmounted by a small brass tied bud handle over a low caddy with ebony mouldings and banding, with glazed sides over the moulded base with bun feet, the associated 7.5 inch dial with cherub spandrels and later silvered chapter ring, the twin fusee movement converted to anchor escapement, with knopped and finned pillars, the backplate engraved with foliate scrolls centred on the signature cartouche, the quarter repeat removed and displaying a later engraving to the base of the plate. 40cm (15.75in)
