the hinged top opening to reveal a central mirror and two tortoiseshell panels above a compartment with geometrical parquetry, above two cupboard doors with rippled mouldings and tortoiseshell, the interior centred by a door with a niche flanked by two columns and opening to a mirrored back "theatre" interior with damier parquet floor and columns, surmounted by a balustrade dissimulating a drawer, flanked to each side by seven small drawers and a larger further drawer to the bottom, above a long drawer and a pull-out slide, on a stand with three small drawers and spirally turned legs joined by a stretcher, on toupie feet, 88cm wide, 40cm deep, 149cm high (34.5" wide, 15.5" deep, 58.5" high).
