An Officer, wearing blue coat with red facings and epaulettes with gold fringe, white cross belt with gold belt plate and gorget attached to his coat buttons with black braid.
Signed on the obverse and dated Gibson/ 1796, gilt-metal frame with glazed reverse to reveal plaited hair.
