George III (17381820), King of Great Britain and Ireland (1760-1820), wearing General's uniform and breast star of the Order of the Garter, red coatee with blue facings, gold buttons and epaulettes, white chemise and black stock, black cocked hat with gold braiding and black rosette, his powdered wig worn en queue and tied with a black ribbon bow.
