Mrs. Anne Mee (British, circa 1770-1851)
Lady Frances Chetwynd-Talbot (née Lambart) (c.1785-1819), wearing white dress with pearl brooches at her sleeve and corsage, a white turban in her dark upswept and curled hair.
Gold frame, the lower side engraved Frances, wife of 2nd Earl Talbot, died 1819, the reverse glazed to reveal plaited hair, set in red leather travelling case.

Footnotes

  • Frances Thomasine Lambart was born in Holsham, Norfolk. She was the daughter of Charles Lambart and Frances Dutton. She married Charles Chetwynd-Talbot, 2nd Earl Talbot of Hensol (1777-1849) on the 28th August 1800 at St. George's Church in Hanover Square, London. They had eleven children between 1801 and 1819. Frances died just shy of three months following the birth of their eleventh child.
