Of bright iron, decorated with sunken bands each with medial ridge and with hummock-shaped projection above the sunken flanged waist, struck with an indistinct armourer's mark beneath the prominent turned and roped neck, moveable armhole gussets with prominent edges en suite and each retaining its buckle, later two-piece skirt with hinges carrying the tassets each embossed with simulated overlapping lames, and each with recessed turned borders
