large single-spring motor, single-section stamped comb on plain brass bedplate in ebonised interior under dustlid, brass control panel, in part rosewood veneered case, the matching lid with interesting oval inlay of two monkeys dressed in 18th century country-folk dress in landscape trying to catch a dove, crossbanded edge, 22in. (56cm.) wide, the cylinder 12.1/4in. (31cm.).
