A mid 19th century German gold, enamelled and diamond-set Royal presentation box,
by C M Weisshaupt Söhne, Hanau, circa 1860
of cartouche form, the cover mounted with the monogram of William I King of Wurttemberg in rose cut diamonds on blue enamel, on a relief-scroll ground with four large collet-set diamonds, the bombé sides engraved with S-scrolls, the underside with flowers and strapwork, length 8.5cm.
