A 19th century Chinese gold snuff box,
marked to cover and base with LC and a pseudo Georgian duty mark, by Lee Ching,
the cover set with an earlier three-colour gold relief plaque depicting a hound barking up a tree at a pair of doves, with a hunter's hat and rifle to one side, on a plain ground with zig-zag border, the box otherwise plain, length 7.9cm, weight 99gms.
