A George III gold and coral mounted rattle,
maker's mark only, probably by William Jury, circa 1775,
the mouthpiece with prick-dot and wriggle work decoration on a rococo stem with gadrooned and fluted knops decorated with flowerheads on a matted ground and a ho-ho bird emerging from scrolls and spume, with eight dependent bells (one lacking) and coral teether, length 15cm.
