Autograph musical quotation signed ("Benjamin Britten"), comprising the note B written within a pair of flats and clefs (the second pair inverted) on a five-bar stave, so as to read "B. B." when the right way up or upside down (i.e. a palindromic play on the composer's initials), written on one side of an album leaf, ink annotation in another hand at foot ("Benjamin Britten"), additionally inscribed on verso by the pianist Hans Richter-Haaser, short tear to blank margin, 168 x 165mm., [c.1960]
