A late 18th century oak 30 hour longcase clock

The hood with moulded cornice over freestanding turned pillars, supported by the trunk with arched door and chamfered corners, raised on a plinth base, the signed 12 inch brass Roman and Arabic dial with foliate spandrels, the centre with two false winding squares and a calendar aperture, the weight driven movement with anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on a bell. 220cm (7ft 2.5in)
