It was June, lovely June
signed 'HELEN BRADLEY' and with fly insignia (lower right) and inscribed 'It was June, lovely June, all/the trees and fields were fresh and/green. The hedgerows were still/sprinkled with May Blossom, and/on Saturday afternoons when Mr/Taylor (the Bank Manager) came to stay/with us at Blackpool, we all went/for a good walk through the fields/but, today we had to turn back/because there were heavy black/clouds coming over the hor... and Mr/Taylor didnt like getting wet, It was/a good thing we did turn back, it rained/and thundered and the year was 1907' (on a label attached to the backboard)
