Three cloisonné enamel incense burners and two covers
16th/17th century
Two censers similarly formed with a stepped foot below a rounded bulbous body, one with two lion-head handles and enamelled with small floral scrolls alternating red, yellow, white and purple blooms and a cover with openwork bamboo, 11cm (4¼in) diam.; the other with two dragon-head handles, a larger typical lotus scroll enamelled on the body and a Jingtai nian zhi mark on the base, 11cm (4¼in) diam.; the third censer with a cylindrical body enamelled with red shou characters and geometric scrolls supported on three small feet, the cover with bronze scrolling dragon motifs, 8cm (3 1/8in) diam.
