The rectangular bell-topped case elaborately decorated throughout with applied brass mounts, the 5½-inch white Arabic dial flanked by pierced sound frets, with twin-barrelled movement striking on a coiled gong, the pendulum and movement numbered 18598, width 21cm, depth 27cm, height 44cm
