A Meissen style figure group of a shepherd and fruit picker
late 19th Century
The two figures seated on a rocky outcrop encrusted with flowers and fruit, the shepherd sat beside a bleating sheep, whilst the lady fruit picker holds a basket of grapes over her right arm and feeds the gentleman grapes; 20cm high, 13cm wide, underglazed blue crossed swords marks to verso, impressed numbers C41a to base, (significant damage to the figure's left arm).
