The rectangular form box heavily gilded with courtly scenes, depicting an emperor flanked by several attendants, amidst an open bamboo veranda, pavilions and trees in the background, set within a shaped cartouche and reserved against a diaper work ground detailed with a series of dragons, the sides similarly decorated, the hinged cover revealing a internal metal compartment;
15cm high, 27cm wide, 20cm deep.
