The rectangular frame with a needlework armorial for the Dering family, the rectangular frame with pierced gilt bronze handle and reeded leaf carved sides, on plinth ends, with leaf carved scrolling feet, no longer rising as fixed, 112cm high, 67cm wide, (44" high, 26" wide).

    The arms are of DERING quartering DEERING (ancient) with a baronet's augmentation impaling EDWARDES quartering WINDSOR for the marriage (10 April 1832) of Sir Edward Cholmeley Dering, (1807-1895) 8th Bt., M.P., to Jane, daughter of the William Edwardes, 2nd Baron Kensington.
