Inlaid with boxwood and ebonised lines, the shaped sloping lids enclosing later stellar inlay and fitted interiors; the shaped fronts with silver ring handles and escutcheons, on turned feet, both inscribed indistinctly in ink to the interiors, 24cm wide, 33cm deep, 40cm high (9" wide, 12.5" deep, 15.5" high).
