A George III mahogany secretaire bookcase
The rectangular ogee moulded cornice above a dentil moulded frieze and a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves; the lower part with a secretaire drawer simulated as two drawers enclosing a later leather, four pigeonholes and nine short drawers; above three long graduated drawers on later shaped bracket feet, with indistinct paper label to the reverse, 95cm wide, 55cm deep, 213cm high (37" wide, 21.5" deep, 83.5" high).
