  • Provenance:
    The Property of a Lady.

According to Fufalza'i, Hafiz Nurallah Haddad worked as a secretary and scribe to Asaf-ud-Daula, Nawab of Oudh from 1775 to 1797. Hafiz Nurallah also worked in Kabul, where his writings were much sought after. His nasta'liq was so much like that of Mir 'Imad's that it was sometimes difficult to distinguish one from the other. See A. Vakili Fufalza'i, honar-khatt dar Afghanistan dar do qarn akhir, 1342 sh, p. 10.
