    Muhammad Salih may be identified with Muhammad Salih Qara-Baghi, son of Ishaq, an Ottoman nasta'liq scribe, who received his ijazet (certificate) from Mahmud Efendi Tupkhana'i and Siyahi Ahmad, and died in 1673.
