A Greek geometric bronze horse
Circa 8th Century B.C.
Standing on an angular base, the head with finely incised eyes, raised mane and curled forelock, with pierced flat-ended muzzle and alert pointed ears, the legs with typical pronounced joints, with right angled tail descending in a straight line to join the base, 4½in (11.2 cm) high
