  • Robert Petrie (1874 – 1947) played in the 1896 F.A. Cup Final for Sheffield Wednesday at Crystal Palace, in a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, he was also on the losing side in the 1900 F.A. Cup final with Southampton. Petrie started his career in his native Scotland, before moving south to join Sheffield Wednesday in April 1894.
