An enamel and diamond pendant, by Lucien Falize, last quarter of the 19th century
Of Indian inspiration, the slightly domed cartouche decorated with translucent red 'cabochonné' enamel, overlaid with a rose-cut diamond floral motif, within a border of ropetwist decoration, rose-cut diamonds and gold florets, glazed compartment to reverse with interior polychrome enamel flower motif against a turquoise-blue enamel ground with raised gold beads, mounted in silver and gold, unsigned, French assay mark, length 7.1cm
