Three large Staffordshire flatback figure groups, 19th century
Comprising a titled figure group "Prodigals Return", the two figures modelled stood in robes and hats, on an oval, titled base with gilt lettering, 36cms, a figure group of a couple, possibly a version of "Sailor's Return", he wearing jacket, trousers, and yellow hat, she modelled in floral-patterned skirt, and holding a yellow hat, both modelled stood on an oval, gilt-lined base, 39cms, together with a figure, possibly of Mary Anne Talbot dressed as John Taylor, the figure modelled in white and gilt, wearing plumed hat, cloak, tunic, jacket, and stockings and yellow gloves, the figures right hand on the muzzle of a rifle resting against a tree stump, with a dog standing next to the figure, its paw against the figures left knee, and a downed game bird at the figures feet, on a gilt-lined oval base, 36cms (3)
