The rectangular case surmounted by a gilt urn, over the silvered engine turned Roman dial, within a gilt foliate border and further foliate and animal mask mounts, over the palmette moulded plinth base, on later bracket feet, dial later signed 'Brocot Douyon', the eight day movement striking on a single bell.
