26.5cm blade, with faceted back edge, wood carved basket weave hilt with silver studs and foliate mounts, the pommel set with a citrine in its leather covered scabbard, silver foliate and thistle mounts, with companion knife and fork mounted en suite and frog, together with a modern skean dhu,

  • This dirk was once the property of the famous Pipe Major Angus Macdonald, Scots Guards, Pipe Major Macdonald is famed for his musical compositions and playing skill, a memorial plaque has been placed in the Guards Chapel.
