The nephrite with isolated black flecks and brown streaks to the mottled gray-green and icy white matrix, carved as two young boy travelers with jovial expressions: the elder with a Buddhist urna to his forehead, a large bi disk suspended to his belt and carrying a sack incised with shou medallions and overflowing with books and scrolls while he crouches over the younger attired in a robe of incised wanzi holding a wicker basket and leading a goose on a leash, the goose's wing feathers and the wicker weave of the basket individually incised.
